- Integers
- Natural numbers are the counting numbers 1,2,3,............ and so on.
- Whole numbers include 0 with natural numbers.
- Every natural number is a whole number.
- If we subtract larger number from smaller number we get new type of numbers denoted by -1,-2,-3,-4,...................... and so on.
EX. 5-8 = -3 , 4-6=-2 , 3-4=-1 , These numbers are called Integers. - 0 is neither positive or negative.

- Fraction
- The number of the form a/b. Where b is not equal to 0 and a,b are whole number is called a fraction.
- Types of fraction
- Proper fraction : If a numerator of a fraction is smaller than the dominator , then fraction is called proper fraction.
